CASA Volunteer Web Guide

Between emails, phone calls, meetings, visits, and court hearings, each ProKids case contains a wealth of information to keep organized. Just like every ProKids case is different, every CASA Volunteer tracks case information differently. However, we’ve developed some common resources and tools that can help guide your case management.

In this section, under Case Management, you will find various checklists to serve as helpful reminders of information you may need on your case. On each page, you can consult the content on-the-go, print it out to use as a paper form and/or download it to any device as a fillable PDF that you can save and update as your case progresses.

In addition to checklists, we’ve also included sample court reports, tips for communicating with other professionals on your case, and a link to resources and services which may aid your work. You will always want to consult with your CASA Manager if you have any questions about your case.

You will also find training materials including the CASA University Manual, the Volunteer Policy & Procedures Manual and materials posted from continuing education programs and from specialized training and support like Building Blocks, Framing Futures and Launch.

The “starting a new case?” page can help you when beginning your ProKids work while the ongoing case management resource page can walk you through the different resources available on these pages.
