At ProKids, we work every day so that abused and neglected children have stability in their lives. Our endowments are an important way to ensure that ProKids itself has long-term stability and can serve these children into the future. Through our endowments, donors can be part of funds that will keep ProKids strong while directly serving our children. If you are considering making a gift to ProKids as part of an endowment, or in creating an endowment, please contact Interim Community Development Director Raynal Moore or call 513-487-6448.
The ProKids Legacy Fund was created by the Austin E. Knowlton Foundation.
The Knowlton Foundation is the legacy of Austin E. Knowlton, community leader, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Mr. Knowlton established the Foundation in 1981 in recognition of his business success and civic involvement. He funded it during his lifetime and, through his will, created a lasting impact that continues to support students and higher education.
The first endowment fund at ProKids, this endowment honors the legacy of Amy Merrell, a Cincinnati children’s advocate who passed away in 2015. It invests in ProKids children who are aging out of the child protection system. This sustaining fund enables these young people to have the advocacy they need.
