At ProKids, it’s not just a job. Our staff recruits, trains and supports our community volunteers who speak up for abused and neglected children in Hamilton County. These Court Appointed Special Advocates, called CASA Volunteers, depend on a passionate staff, dedicated to the vision of a safe, permanent and nurturing home for every child.

At its heart, our work is advocacy. And that work is meaningful and dynamic. Since 1981, ProKids has grown to serve an increasing number of children in the child protection system.

Donor Relationship Manager

ProKids is a non-profit agency committed to breaking the cycle of child abuse and neglect by ensuring children find safe, permanent homes where they can thrive. All our employees and volunteers help change the future for our children and our entire community. We are seeking a full-time donor relationship manager to support our mission through individual and corporate giving management. This collaborative team member will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment and cultivation strategies to increase the financial commitment of 100+ donors.

The ideal candidate holds 3-years of experience in fundraising or sales, is a confident public speaker, and excels at networking. Excellent interpersonal skills are required as well as an aptitude in written and verbal communication. The candidate should be detail oriented, able to exercise independent judgement, and manage multiple priorities. As a fundraising professional for an agency committed to principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, cultural competence is a must. Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge database, the Benevon fundraising model, and child protection issues is a plus.

Trainer & Curriculum Assistant

ProKids is seeking a part-time trainer and curriculum assistant — a dynamic professional with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to support learners in their journey to become volunteer advocates for abused and neglected children.

The successful candidate will effectively facilitate pre-service and continuing education training and will collaborate to develop new curriculum, all while building relationships with ProKids volunteers.

The ideal applicant will be comfortable with public speaking and have a proven record of internal and external collaboration to provide excellent volunteer management. You will be ready to apply a basic knowledge of child protection and foster respect and empathy for system partners and ProKids clients.

Senior Foundation Manager

ProKids is seeking a full-time senior foundation manager to attract funding that enables abused and neglected children to reach safe, permanent, nurturing homes. This position works collaboratively with other staff to determine financial needs, matching them to funding opportunities at foundations.

As a key leader in community development, the foundation manager communicates our children’s needs in both technical, detailed writing and compelling storytelling. This role requires the ability to comply with strict requirements and deadlines while balancing several projects.

Highly organized with strong research skills, the foundation manager will be of high integrity, with superior problem-solving skills, and can work independently.

With 3-5 years of experience, the foundation manager will build upon existing relationships and identify and cultivate new contacts, ensuring consistent and professional representation of ProKids to outside funders and community members.
