Man-Up Virtual Happy Hour

[vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]To recruit more male CASA Volunteers to serve ProKids children, we are hosting a Virtual Happy Hour for community members to learn about how you can help break the vicious cycle of child abuse and neglect. You will hear about the ProKids mission and from ProKids volunteers, who serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates, known CASA Volunteers, as they share their experiences. You’ll find that our CASA Volunteers come from all walks of life and are able to advocate for a child in crisis in every part of the child’s life, helping to make sure the child is safe from abuse and neglect. Appointed by the court and supported and trained by ProKids, each of these volunteers has a powerful role in putting the pieces together: education, mental health, physical health and — most importantly — where the child will live.

COVID-19

More children will be coming into the child protection system due to the ongoing health crisis and the aftershocks in Ohio’s economy. We need more CASA Volunteers than ever before to speak for these children.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
