Become an Advocate

Make a difference for children right here in Cincinnati.

You are more than just a volunteer.

When you advocate for a child in foster care, you become someone they can count on — someone who understands, listens, and speaks up when it matters most. As a part of our Court Appointed Special Advocate Program, (CASA), you will be trained and supported by ProKids staff on how to professionally advocate for a child’s best interest both in and out of court.

Make a lasting impact for children in Hamilton County who deserve a safe, permanent and nurturing home.

What is a CASA?

A Court Appointed Special Advocate is a trained community member who stands up for a child who has experienced abuse or neglect. Through the dedication of our CASAs, children can gain access to the medical care, educational support, and legal advocacy they need.
