Make a difference for foster children in Hamilton County.
If you are looking to volunteer in Cincinnati, you can make a lasting impact for children in Hamilton County who deserve safe, permanent, and nurturing homes. As a CASA volunteer with ProKids, you provide critical foster care advocacy for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. When you advocate for a child in foster care, you become someone they can count on — someone who listens, understands, and speaks up when it matters most. As part of our Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program, you will be trained and supported by ProKids staff to serve as a juvenile court volunteer and provide professional court advocacy for children both in and out of court.
A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) is a trained community member who serves as a court volunteer for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. CASA volunteers provide critical foster care advocacy, ensuring a child’s needs and best interests are clearly understood within the juvenile court system.
Through the dedication of each CASA volunteer, children can gain access to the medical care, educational support, and stability they need while navigating foster care. By offering consistent court advocacy for children, CASAs help ensure every child has the opportunity to grow up in a safe, permanent, and nurturing home.
