To ensure the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of the children we serve, ProKids asks that all in-kind donations follow these guidelines:
These policies ensure every child and family receives items that are safe, appropriate, and ready to use.
Throughout the year, ProKids hosts several in-kind donation events that directly support children and families involved in the Hamilton County child protection system. Whether you give individually or rally your workplace, church, club, or community group to participate together, your support makes a meaningful difference.
Help children start the school year with confidence. The ProKids Backpack Shop provides backpacks filled with age-appropriate supplies for youth of all grade levels. Donations of backpacks, school supplies, and teen-friendly items ensure our CASA Volunteers can equip kids with everything they need for a strong start. Please view our Backpack Shop Wishlist here.
Each holiday season, ProKids provides toys and gift cards to the children we serve. In 2024, 104 CASA Volunteers picked up 867 gifts for the children on their caseloads. We kindly request toy and gift card donations to support our 2026 Holiday Shop.
Our wish list typically includes items such as sensory toys, LEGO sets, and bath and body gift sets. A full wish list for the 2026 Holiday Shop will be available by September 2026.
Adopt-a-Family provides critical support to families connected to the child protection system who are working to build safe, stable homes. Donations may include household goods, clothing, cleaning supplies, and other essential items. Warm, practical gifts can play a meaningful role in helping families stay together and achieve stability.
Families served through this program are typically among our highest-need households and benefit greatly from this support. If you’re interested in participating during the holiday season, please reach out at any time throughout the year. We will follow up in November with additional details and information about the family you’ve been matched with.

We can assist you with scheduling a drop-off, planning a group drive, or answering any questions about participating in our in-kind donation programs.
We are deeply grateful for the generosity of our donors. Your support makes an immediate and meaningful difference in the lives of children and families involved in the Hamilton County child protection system.
